Teledentistry: Technology to Keep You Connected

To mitigate the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19), the American Dental Association (ADA) put forward guidelines related to emergency and nonemergency dental care. In response to this definition, and the desire to continue to support patient care, teledentistry is emerging as a care option during this crisis. According to the ADA, Teledentistry refers to the use of “telehealth systems and methodologies in dentistry” to “deliver virtual medical, health and education services to enhance care and education delivery”.

To learn more about teledentistry please reference resources included from ADA, Bryan Laskin,DDS and others. If a teledentistry tool is of interest, see the OperaDDS promotion including FREE months and a COVID-19 screening form.
