Champ® Pit and Fissure Sealant Multiple Syringe Kit - Centrix Inc

Champ® Pit and Fissure Sealant is a bioactive and hydrophilic resin-based sealant that penetrates and adapts to pits and fissures to seal tightly at the margins. The continued ionic exchange allows calcium, phosphate and fluoride ions to bind to tooth minerals and form a strong resin-hydroxyapatite complex that seals out microleakage.

  • Greater strength and durability when compared to traditional or GI-based materials
  • Bonds well to teeth, even in moist environments
  • Eliminates microleakage in areas where sealant can de-bond or lift off
  • Lightly filled (37%) material flows smoothly over prepared surfaces and penetrates into cracks, pits and fissures
  • Easy to place and less technique-sensitive
  • Compressive strength: 35,000 psi (240 MPa)
  • Diametral tensile strength: 6,300 (43 MPa)
  • Film thickness: 12 µm
  • Free of Bisphenol A, Bis-GMA, Bis-DMA and gluten
  • Etching is recommended for longer-lasting results
  • Not to be used on dental caries
