Login Issues and Resolutions

Having trouble logging in to pattersondental.com?

Please refer to the common issues and resolutions below. In most cases the issue can be resolved quickly.

Issue: Unable to find account

Probable cause

This error appears when you have entered an incorrect password to login or you have not yet updated your user name to a valid email address.

Resolution

Manually re-enter the password. You may have entered a stored password that is no longer correct, or there may be an error from copying and pasting the password.

If re-entering the password does not work, contact us to request a password update and then log in using that updated password.

If you have not yet updated your username to a valid email address, refer to an important announcement.

Issue: Invalid verification code

Probable cause

This issue may be caused by copying and pasting extra spaces or typing in the code incorrectly.

Resolution

Manually enter the code with no spaces before or after the code. If the issue continues, click on “Send new code” and try again.

Issue: Expired verification code

Probable cause

Verification codes expire after 10 minutes.

Resolution

Click on “Send new code” and enter the new code.

Issue: Verification code not received

Probable cause

1. The email could be in the customer’s spam/junk mail

2. There's latency in the customer's email exchange servers

3. The customer is still attempting to use an invalid email address

Resolution

1. Customer should check their spam/junk mail for an email from “Microsoft on behalf of PattersonB2C.”

2. Try using Send/Receive option in Outlook or equivalent in other email provider

3. If the customer has not updated their username to a valid email address, then an Admin user would need to change their email address to a valid, accessible account that can receive the verification code.

Note: If there’s a delay between the customer selecting the option to send the code and finding the code in their email, then the code could have expired and a new code can be requested.
