Pinkwave™ Curing Light - INTER-MED INC (VISTA)

Pinkwave™ Curing Light uses Quadwave™ Technology to increase the depth of cure up to 8.5 mm and to reduce composite shrinkage. It combines 4 different wavelengths into one pink, collimated beam for enhanced performance (375-900 nm).

  • Used for all light-cured materials
  • UV activates type-1 photo initiators, such as TPO and BPO
  • Blue LED activates camphorquinone (CQ), the most common photo initiator in composite materials
  • Red LED increases polymerization without being readily absorbed by the pulp tissue
  • NIR (near-infrared) provides more irradiance with less heat for increased composite polymerization and microhardness
  • Large curing light area (12.1 mm) ensures maximum coverage
  • Provides sufficient curing from 0-7 mm with optimal performance when positioned 3-6 mm away
  • Increases top and bottom microhardness by an average of 19%
  • Built-in transilluminator detects caries, cracks, interproximal decay and canal openings
  • Allows a more complete cure with less shrinkage and shrinkage stress
  • Provides easy access to the posterior
  • Reduces microleakage and water sorption
