Monocryl™ (poliglecaprone 25) Absorbable Sutures are monofilament synthetic surgical sutures prepared from a copolymer of glycolide and epsilon-caprolactone. The Monocryl suture is indicated for use in general soft tissue approximation and/or ligation.

  • Contraindications: cardiovascular or neurological tissues, microsurgery or ophthalmic surgery
  • Dissolvable sutures for easier suture removal
  • Ultra-pliable for excellent handling
  • Monofilament sutures lessen the probability of tissue drag and infection
