2% Xylocaine® Dental is a sterile isotonic solution containing lidocaine hydrochloride and epinephrine. This local anesthetic is administered by injection for dental procedures.

  • Local anesthetic administered by injection
  • Sterile isotonic solution containing lidocaine hydrochloride and epinephrine
  • Rapid onset of 2-4 minutes in infiltration and mandibular nerve blocks
  • Average pulpal duration of 55-65 minutes in infiltration and 80-90 minutes in mandibular nerve blocks
  • Average soft-tissue duration of 2.5 hours in infiltration, 3-3.25 hours for nerve blocks
  • Cartridges packed in unique blister trays minimize risk of breakage; with siliconized plungers for smooth movement and precise control
