This Eliminator Valve Adapter complies with OSHA requirements when attached to a conventional eyewash station. Upon publishing a temperature limitation on eye or face wash stations, OSHA has given its inspectors the authority to cite and fine workplaces where the possibility of scalding exists. If your eyewash unit is connected to a sink with both hot & cold running water, you must install a device to regulate the water temperature.
