Fast, convenient, more comfortable treatment
Take advantage of the growing number of patients interested in orthodontic treatment by offering them easier, faster and more comfortable treatment with CEREC®. Any CEREC Omnicam-equipped practice can now provide comprehensive orthodontics, including clear aligners such as Invisalign® and ClearCorrect™, as well as other removable, fixed and functional appliances. CEREC Ortho integrates easily with Dolphin® 3D software for analysis and diagnostics, and digital scans can be sent to any laboratory in the Sirona Connect network, including Great Lakes Orthodontics.
Guided-Accurate Digital Scans
With the CEREC Omnicam, the smallest, powder-free video camera on the market, and the guided scanning process using the CEREC Ortho software, you can easily and quickly create a digital impression of the entire jaw. The impression data can be used to design and produce orthodontic appliances – for example the Invisalign® clear aligner treatment. You save a considerable amount of time compared with the conventional methods that require physical models to be fabricated and shipped. The treatment can begin much earlier than usual in many cases.
The CEREC Ortho program guides the clinician step by step through the scanning process. Acoustic signals, images and brief explanations assist users with the camera work. Ease of use makes it possible to delegate within the practice team.
Faster Start with Aligner Treatment
With the CEREC Ortho Software, digital models are created from CEREC Omnicam. Intraoral data are transferred to Align Technology and used as part of the record submission for an Invisalign treatment. The digital model can be produced much faster than 2-phase silicone impressions. The digital data allows rapid coordination with external service providers so the final treatment proposal is available sooner. Your patients will be pleased with the faster and more comfortable procedure.
Digital Storage and Printing
The 3D models created from digital impressions can be stored in the software. Just-in-time fabrication on 3D printers means that you can print a physical model at any time from which orthodontic appliances of all kinds can be produced.
CEREC Ortho integrates with Dolphin imaging software, allowing CEREC Omnicam scans to be stored directly in Dolphin 3D for archival, diagnostic and patient education purposes.
